After inheriting my mother’s kayak I began seeking new places to paddle. I started this blog as a place for me to record my trips and remind me of how to return to the places I enjoyed. Over time other people began finding and sharing my blog. This has led to some great opportunities! I love paddling and hope this blog can inspire others to get out on the water! Happy Paddling!
My Book!!
One opportunity that the blog has brought me is the co-authoring of a guidebook, Paddling Southern Maine! It is something in which I take a lot of pride! My writing partner, Sandy Moore, and I have created a book with 54 amazing trips that are within about an hour of Portland! Our motto as we wrote the book was wanting to 'get people to spend the day on the water and not in their cars!'

From Drafts... Brownfield Bog. A photo only post
Not Sure why this never got posted... but this was a fall paddle on the Brownfield Bog... I can't wait to get there this spring - Gate is not yet open, but soon!!
